My business and IT experience along with my integrity as an independent adviser.
Originally an Insurance Underwriter, I have worked in IT for over 25 years, managing projects and programmes of business change and IT integration.
Initially I worked as the IT manager for a small rapidly growing insurance broker. Later I managed the Engineering and Service Development teams, as well as technical Presales before becoming the Sales Solutions Specialist for an IT outsourcer.
My specific focus today is to make technology support the business and not vice versa.
Recognised for my ability to explain complex technical ideas to nontechnical people, I engage with businesses at any level.
I also feel strongly that if IT is not your core business, you should not need to be an expert in it.
I have worked with a large number of customers and suppliers in the industry and know the real value of IT along with its costs and the importance of security and confidentiality.
